Pitch: Amherst, NSCL
I tried one last place in Charlottetown and got the boot pretty much immediately. No one even had time to give me a tip. I took a gander at the downtown and saw a lot of panhandlers for its size and I did not really want to mess with them. With the steadiness that only comes with practice, I softly spoke the words "fuck it" and left. Over the bridge and back to the mainland. Don't get me wrong, I loved my time on the island and I do want to go back someday. Next time though, it'll be for pleasure, not business. Or, at the very least, not busking.
