Pitch: St. John's Farmers Market
Okay. Lots has happened. Lots of incredible and amazing things have happened this weekend. I released and EP, the first release I've had all to myself, and it feels really good. Not only because people like it, but just to have worked hard on something and being able to show it to the world. Then yesterday night I got Screeched In. I kissed the cod and took the shot and now I'm an honourary Newfoundlander, I have the certificate and everything. I can't tell you how much this means to me, I've just been wanting this for so long and I've come so far for it. Now today, I dont know where all this money came from. For the first time I started hiding some of it away to make it look like my case was emptier, so maybe that had something to do with it. Or maybe the locals have truely accepted me as one of their own. To make this set even better, I encountered the professor of musicology at MUN. She says she's currently doing a study on ukuleles, and that she would like to talk with me sometime soon. Bonkers. An absolutely bonkers weekend.
